After 25 years of working hard, I made a big life-changing decision — I accepted voluntary redundancy, said goodbye to my home, and finally went after a dream I’ve had for years… life on the road.
That dream became real when I found her — Little Lenny.
Little Lenny is a Scottish ambulance conversion that was still in service just two years ago. She spent her life helping people, and now she’s starting a brand-new chapter… as my home, my adventure base, and my ticket to freedom.
I’ve only had her for a week or two, but I didn’t waste any time — I moved in on day one and haven’t looked back since.
Our very first weekend was straight into the deep end at the Vanlife Festival at Scampton Hall. What a way to begin! Incredible people, amazing vans, and a real taste of the vanlife community I’m now part of. More about the festival soon!
This page will follow everything that comes next — the ups, the challenges, the upgrades, the breakdowns (hopefully not too many ), and all the adventures Little Lenny and I get up to.
